It is a fast moving, exciting, graceful and, most of all, fun to watch. Nearly all aspects of the sport, including barefooting,
jumping, and tricks are combined with some new acts such as pyramids, doubles, and trios, are choreographed into a themed production.
The announcer plays a very important role in the show, he is the spectators official host.
He extablishes the environment and tempo of the show and often plays a character as part of the show's theme.
In addition he has the added responsibility of explaining the acts as they relate to the technical aspects of water skiing.
